FOXNews.com - Anti-Illegal Immigration Group Calls for 'Safe Passage' of Illegals Out of U.S.

The true reality is--- if the 'undocumented' being able to come to America allows a pressure release valve for the corrupt and broken economy and political structure in Mexico.

The Mexican Drug War and the other Social Conflicts in Mexico from Corn Prices to the Indigenous Movements would exponentially increase in their magnitude.

If Mexico is already a failed state with a fourth of their population as economic refugees living in the US what would getting worse look like??? It would impact states like Arizona immensely and could destabilize the political structure in the American Southwest.

The 'undocumented' have become an integral part of the American Economy and their absence would certainly affect the purchasing power of the US dollar. And in the middle of the Great Manic Depression how big of an impact would that have?

  1. Ben, you brought this issue to attention on occasion these past couple weeks on your programs. I got the impression that you were a bit one-sided with the illegals. But after listening to the last caller on tonight's Redux, I'm glad you seen both sides of the illegal immigrant issue by addressing corrupted government. I'll paraphrase you stating that the result of NAFTA (under the Democrat Clinton BTW) brought in U.S. and Canadian imported grain that Mexican farmers could not compete with. They became economic refugees and forced to find work in the U.S by means of survival. The American farmers and contractors exploit their dire situation by hiring them all at dirt cheap wages versus providing fair wages with benefits expected by American workers. I'd like to debate that not all Americans are reluctant to perform this hard farm labor; especially during this economic climate. However corporate America is certainly capitalizing on this exploitation where they are cutting costs by hiring illegals and thus eliminating potential positions for American citizens. In other words, both illegals and legals lose under the hand of corporate power. As you said, Arizona was only reinforcing an existing law. The MSM convinced the public that Arizona was turning into a tyrannical, Nazi-like state. It got the public consensus by exagerating a bold act enforced by the Arizona legislature into a racist issue to gain support of the federal government in order to please their corporate masters. It only makes sense that this federal superseding benefits a transnational corporate agenda (also done under a Democrat administration). The more I talk to liberals and 'progressives' they act like Mexican migrant workers aren't capable of voicing out dissent and perceive them as if they are helpless. I believe it to an extent with the Mexican federal government appearing to not combat drug cartels runnning rampant within the country. They need to rally and organize like we did with the unions a hundred years ago or with Civil Rights in the '60's. But that doesn't necessarily imply they should rely on our country for salvation and you know it; especially since we are currently facing hardships ourselves. It's going to take sacrifice on both ends of the border. "Be the change you want to see in the world," as Gandhi put it. The more I write about this issue, the more I get the vibe that sovereignty itself is soon to be eliminated and the whole world will become one global corporate entity. We are falling into the elite's trap of choosing one opposing side of an issue while they further push an oppressive agenda right under all of our noses.
