I guess the numbers don't take into account that the increase is non citizen hispanics, unless there is some amnesty push the plurality of America's 'minority' population will essentially be refugees from Mexico and the other countries in Central America.
The solution would be to invade Mexico(been there done that) overthrow the regime(you know like we did Saddam) and privatize the oil reserves(hasta la vista Pemex) so then the fine people of Mexico won't be forced out of their land to do the jobs that American's won't do (for minimum wage)

The current immigration trends threaten the middle class for all Americans: Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, Indian and of course Pacific Islander.
There is no reason(except slavery) why Mexico or any other country with natural resources and arable land can't prosper and be free, in the 21st century.
